One of my favorite seasons is Fall, maybe because the weather is just so nice; and I love the way the colors in the leaves changes. It makes me feel like a kid again. I think this fall its all about pastel colors, earthy prints on our bags, and of course anything green. Lately I’ve been sporting the new Mocking bird tote bag from Mixx and yes its the new item with the popular mocking bird print. The neat thing about this bag is the short handle which fits right underneathe your underarm, no need to worry about the bag slipping off. =) Remember treat yourself with some happiness this fall.
School Tote Bags, School Totes

We’re already mid way into summer and back to school shopping is right around the corner. We’re excited to present a new line of school tote bags designed by Hoyden Life, founded under our Mixx tote bags. Its large enough to carry heavy books and school supplies. The Creston High School Tote Bag is one of my fav. and hopefully you’ll find comfort in this bag too. You can’t go wrong with this bag with its size, apple green colors, and preppy look. There are several other school tote bags under the Mixx line. Some follow the same Rootote design with the side pockets. The neat thing about these bags are their durability and 100% cotton material. We’ll be posting close up pics and fashion pics soon!
Wallets or Not?

So for the past week I’ve been thinking whether we should include wallets within our product line and here is my final conclusion, yes we will. In the next few days you’ll be seeing a new category on our site featuring the Angry Little Girls Wallet. We’re also looking into carrying a few other ones and of course they’ll have to be cute. Some of the wallets will come with matching tote bags to complete a whole bag set.

Our cute Mixx Laptop Sleeves

I’m somewhat sad to say but we might remove the entire Laptop Sleeves product line once its all sold out. =( I’m in the process of developing a new line, but I’m not quite sure when that is going to happen. It’ll take some time for me to mock up some designs and find the right sewing contractors. Quality is key.
As a designer myself I can get pretty critical with how things are laid out. So I will definately keep everyone posted on what the future will be for the cute laptop sleeves that we currently have now. =D
Spring Tote Bags - the Bunny Tote

I spent the day browsing through several online stores to see the latest trends for this upcoming spring season. As always light colors with some type of floral designs seems to be a big hit for spring time tote bags. Spring is just around the corner so I wanted to share some of the latest spring tote bags from our line, especially the spring bunny tote bag. I don’t know, but for some odd reason bunnies on a tote bag is just adorable especially with an urban feel to it. About two weeks ago I had sent an image of this spring bunny tote bag to my friend via email just to see her reaction. And of course she had felt the same way. Is it just me or do all girls feel the same way when it comes to having some type of animal like print on a tote bag. Owls and bunny prints are my favorite and I’ve noticed several people feel the same way. 
Another New Year with Rootote Bag

I have to start off by saying 2007 flew by real quick, hopefully it won’t be the same for 2008 and hopefully it’ll be a better year. This year we’re looking into bringing in more grocery type of tote bags that is large enough for the everyday shopping.
So far we had recently added more of the Japanese Rootote Tote bag in a variety of design and colors. Don’t forget they are known for those awesome extra side pocket. Its not all about the aesthetics or maybe it is. =) They are awfully cute especially the Bear and Catepillar tote bag making a statement that its always good to share. The nice thing about these type of bags is they are made for machine washable. I’ve never had to wash a bag before especially a purse or tote bag, so this is a first for me in a good way.
Go Green Tote Bags

Last weekend CNN had a special global warming documentary, showing the effects of green house gas. So my immediate reaction to this is what can I do as a person to slowly change my lifestyle in going more green. Yes of course I’m doing that now, but there may be small little things that I might’ve overlooked. A couple of months ago, my coworker had shown me several of her canvas tote bags which she’s using for grocery shopping in replace of carrying plastic bags that are unrecyclable. I thought that was a great idea. So most of our inventory of tote bags came from this whole experience of going green tote bags introduced by my lovely coworker Paula. And for those who are using our tote bags for grocery shopping, kudos to you! Carrying a tote bag is not just a fashion statement but also a way to help improve our environment. So go green tote bags!
Gym Bags or Gym Tote Bags For Winter Workouts

So fall is here and winter is not that far behind and I’m planning on getting back into my old routine of winter workouts. I’m bringing along my new Gym Tote Bag (or gym bag) designed by Funtote. Fall Pure Aloha Festival

For those who missed us for the Fall Pure Aloha festival, here is a recap.
The weather was on our side this time compared to First Friday’s wind a few weeks ago. We spent long hours (12hrs) getting things prepared and ready for the madness. All of our new products were featured at the booth. I promise to get them out on the site this week mainly the monster doll keychains and voodoo babies (see pictures below). It was a very successful event due to the wonderful weather (mid 70s), awesome island food (yumm musubi) and music. I did remember to bring my camera this time around, see below.
